Taking the opportunity of the Osaka/Kansai Expo to be held in 2025, we will reaffirm the philosophy of the SDGs, understand the current state of its implementation, and develop measures to realize a society in which "no one is left behind." and the role that science and technology will play in it. Furthermore, we will launch the "Inochi Forum" project together with three Kansai economic organizations, and promote this project in collaboration with companies, national and local governments, NPOs and NGOs, the Japan Exposition Association, and other universities both domestically and internationally. At this Inochi Forum, we will also discuss the goals that humanity should aim for after the SDGs, that is, after 2031.
